What's a CBR600F with more power?
Discussion
Have someone interested in buying my 2010 Blade, not advertised it as in the uncertain I really want to sell it situation but reality is I ride my CBR600F everyday, ridden the Blade twice this year and that's it. I think going down to one bike makes sense but not sure I'd want the 600F as my only bike. What would be ideal is the same bike but 1ltr, 140 ish bhp and torque like the blade. Does such a bike exist? It'd need to be totally reliable hard wearing etc as used all year round ~ 40 miles a day.

Fazer FZ1? Bit more on the touring side but closer to the numbers you're describing. Should be dependable.
This is my ideal bikeThey are pretty good, and seme hard-wearing. 40 miles a day isnt that much OP, its more how you look after the bike - especially through winter (ACF50 all over perhaps and a scottoiler to help keep the chain from corroding)
The blade and 600F feel light agile bikes and that's what i like the most. Had a Hornet before the F and don't want naked again.
What I've found is all the 1000 bikes seem to be in-necessarily heavy and large feeling if they are not sports bikes, the bade would be fine and I'd keep that if it wasn't for the scrunched up riding position that makes my knees and neck ache. The CBR600F position is perfect and the way it rides is perfect - I just want more grunt.

Right so you have the later 2013 CBR600F which is based on the Hornet.
Year is quite important. The riding position, weight, etc. on the earlier ones is really not the same.
It does mean however that they the CBR1000R is literally the bigger version of your bike and the Hornet, albeit without fairings.
So you're a fussy bd.

Blackbird. CBR1100XX.
This is the only correct Answer. I have a blackbird currently had 600F4i before. Before the blackbird existed CBR1000 would have been the answer.
OP As I now find out your are talking about the 'pretend' current 600F based off the current hornet the above doesn't apply.
A friend of mine had a CBR600F, an early Blade followed by a later Blade.
Quite a tall chap, he said that the riding position far better suited his frame on the earlier Blade than the much smaller later one. If you can find a good one is it worth looking at an earlier Blade?
Personally the CBR600F (2003 model) is all the bike I need for my commute but I'm a biking newbie!
