While i have the rear wheel removed from my Piaggio scooter waiting for a new tyre,i was thinking of having the wheel powder coated because it is corroding in places and the paint is flaking off.
Are their any likely issues with the tyre sealing ok onto the rim after powder coating?
I know there are a lot of sports bikes which have had the wheels powder coated so i was wondering if anyone had came across any problems.

Just had mine done and the finish is great. Remember we're talking about a super fine layer here, so it won't affect the fitting of your tyre.
