Well, that was a load of crap but it killed 20 minutes. Much like the last generation of kids racing scooters around scruffy estates, I suspect in a decade most will be in prison or on the dole and simply too apathetic to go out riding a scooter. I wonder how many will graduate to motorbikes? It always seems the case that the majority of kids on scooters give them up a couple of years after getting them.

Also, interesting to see that Spudgun is in a scooter gang these days.

+1 A modern version of what loads of us were doing when we were 16/17/18.

Cue lots of hilarity and ridicule by the DAS mob - especially the ones that wobble around at 10 degrees lean laughing at kids that have proper bike control.
Always thought you two must have been well gangsta when you were kids.

whats new?
its bike thieves riding round but flaunting it on international media.
some of them do some nice wheelies but if your crashes are done on stolen machines you can fall off a lot(practice) and it will cost nothing.
scum.

Haha - yeah the thieves on there are pure scum - we used to buy our old C90s cheap with paper round money, going 2 or 3 ways on the bike. Principle was the same. Dodge the police, wheelie, jump, skid and dick around on the bikes until broken, although it was in firebreaks in woods rather than urban settings. Late teens were deserted roads or industrial estates on Sundays. Again - dick about and leg it from the slow panda cars that invariably turned up.

A lot of vitriol on here regarding these kids. Are you lot so old you cannot remember what it is like to be 16 again? If so let me remind you.

At 16 I had a Honda SS50, it cost me £37 to insure tpft.
I had a four year apprenticeship with a large company with future prospects.
I went to college and got some proper quals all paid for by the company.
4 years later I bought a house because I could.
5 years later I started a business which later got bought out paying out my mortgage.

I was lucky. I had opportunities. Most of these guys do not. Yes they have a choice but they do not have the opportunities that us older generation had and that is what helped put us on the map. These guys cannot get jobs, insurance, quals, credit, or property. Unless they are gifted what can they do? There's plenty of skills going on here and thanks to video they have been captured for good and for bad.. did we get video'd? Hell no! So why not let the media magic get them some publicity? Yes the rozzers want to kill their fun because they are anti-social but its not like they are all breaking into places and robbing them.. they are bikers at the end of the day and everyone has to start somewhere.

Give em a break guys these dudes have skills.. no way I could do that now let alone when I was 16!

Fair enough, it's tough for this generation of inner city feckless wasters, and if the kids want to go biking, maybe we should just let them. After all, they said in the video they just steal bikes if they cannot afford them, so now being poor is not even a barrier. How would you feel if the local scrotes nicked your pride and joy to rag it about until it gets crashed, confiscated or torched?

Gutted mate. I've had bikes stolen and it hurts. That was one of the reasons I started a security company.

What I am saying is don't blame the individuals, blame the government for not giving them the opportunities. All I see in that vid is pure talent that would do well on a track or better focused to teach noob riders bike control. Those 'scrotes' are just looking for an opportunity to better themselves and the opportunities that were previously obtainable are not so easy to get these days.

Ball cocks.
The opportunities are there alright, but usually for those who demonstrate they're worthy of them and who also recognise they won't come to fruition overnight.
These scrotes are just after immediate attention and superficial popularity, more YouTube hits than the next scrote and an easy path to what so many of them think is a viable career......that of "being well-known on social media" which has worked but only for a very chosen few.
They may have talent, but without genuine direction it is worthless.
Hitler was quite a talented artist by the way although he was often criticised for not including more people in his paintings.

Now, where's me pipe and slippers?

LordFlathead, your permissive attitude is bizzare. You would absolve them of all responsibility because it's not their fault? Rubbish. Coming from a council estate does not mean you must be a lowlife scumbag, these turds make an choice to be criminals. No one's fking fault but their own.

Well I doubt their parents are model citizens, it's not really surprising that kids brought up by criminal scumbags become criminal scumbags.

However I am most surprised that LF is sticking up for bike thieves, irrespective of their upbringing. I'm sure he'd feel a little different if his pride and joy disappeared.

And as for the stuff I did when I was 16, it was nothing like this. I wasn't a scummy bike thief for starters, and I didn't hang around a group of gay scooter riding criminals.
