I missed this thread - but bought back some old nostalgia of trying to do the exact same thing - and painting the lawn black in the process..... deep in the archives I found some pictures. 2003 which is pretty scary and im pretty sure I rode it only once after all the fannying about and painting. Was a cheap find from one of those insurance auction salvage sites - before it all went crazy with people paying silly prices.

I think I've thought of the design. Silver with blue flashes like ICEMANS lid, my theory being, I'm always fking freezing and my tanks silver.

If i designed it better would yellow on black not look good?

Yellow and black is fine, lose the yellow on the brakes and fairing fittings.
Maybe try the FJR on an angle more flowing with the bike.

Iceman was number 1 after all!

Plus those lightning bolts have got to be worth half a second.

For me definitely not. The yellow details ruin it.

All black would look good and at the very most, highlight the FJR with a colour. Like gold and go for JPS racing look?

The yellow tat looks like...tat.
