Just buy GB engine covers then. They are plastic and sit over your existing one without having to take it off. Pointless getting a thicker metal one that still needs changing with new gaskets each time you crash rather than replacing a piece of plastic.

Yes I am aware of these, and agree it would suit, but unfortunately they are more difficult to get fitment for none sports dedicated bikes.

To be honest I'm happy to make do without until I start putting more time in on the track.
