How much is parking me, neelyp, and prolapse were going to go this year.
The last two times I've gone I've left at 5ish and the car park has been totally devoid of security so I paid for a parking ticket that was never checked.
This year I'm not paying for parking and if I get stopped on the way out I'll say I lost it

Eh? Pound is pretty strong. Money markets have decided that the answer will be NO. Betfair are even paying out no bets already hehe

Storm in a tea-cup. As of tomorrow life can return to normal.
It's strong but not against the USD, was 1.71 now 1.64.

I agree with you though. 72% no is my prediction.

Having received numerous emails extolling the joys of purchasing advanced tickets to this year's show, with a saving of a whole £3.00 over the standard price of £20.00, I thought that I might avail myself of this service.

Imagine my dismay at finding that there is some spurious add-on called a Fulfilment Fee of £1.50, leading to a now massive saving of all of £1.50.

This is a practice that I have not come across before, in any of my online ticket purchases, and is worthy of the Ryanair Code of Practice.

Now, assuming that Motorcycle Live have already paid the ticketing organisation a fee, just what is this for? It's an online service, no human interaction at all, ticket by email so no printing costs. And just what is being fulfilled? Not me, after being shafted like this.

Is this normal? Anyone else come across this dubious practice?
That reads just like a daft letter to Viz

1.26 today against the Euro. Or nearly.

COOL, I'll definitely endure at 12 hour round trip of motorways on two wheels now
I personally wouldn't but it's only a couple of hours for me. In fact - if this wasn't the only place in UK where you can sit on all the new models (and a few motorcycles, too) I wouldn't bother at all.
THE PLAN, was to get some new gear at discount prices, whilst seeing the show.

we have nothing like this in Scotland
ive been the last 3 years. 1st year was decent, loadsa gear at decent prices... 2nd year... mediocre at best, lack of backs and about 1/4 of the stalls as the prev year... last year, turd. spent a few hours there and was done and didnt buy anything - not through lack of hunting!

suffice to say i wont be wasting my time this year.

I have just checked the Motorcycle Live website, and while this "Fulfilment Fee" still applies, they have changed the ticketing page to at least declare this up front, which I suppose is a minor victory.
