Got these amazing bose quiet comforts as an alternative to earplugs, only problem is pulling my helmet off feels like I'm ripping my ears off. Is there anything available like a padded balaclava round the ears or something?

Thank you! I get fed up of putting my ear phones in, put my lid on and one pops out. Put it back in, and the other pops out!

balaclava should work wonders for that, if not tape them up, keeps them in for f1 drivers.

I'm genuinely amazed you can get a helmet over those in the first place!

Make some access holes in your crash helmet.

Then you can just take the ear things out and take your helmet off.

I used to use that to take wall thickness samples on 20,000 litre tanks.

I lost count of the times It dropped in after a cut and I spent the next 30 minutes trying to get in the tank to find the fking thing.

It worked 90 percent of the time. The problem was that the handheld drill wasn't up for the job and it would loosen as you drilled. Then as soon as it pushed through, "oh fk" then 2 seconds later, clunk fk
