I think it's cobblers that if the championship was decided with 2 or 3 rounds left, it would stop people going to watch.
I watch it because I love it, as I'm sure everyone else does.

Yes I love it too and would watch the racng whatever. I do however have mixed feelings on the BSdB system.

The showdown system does make the end exciting, there's nothing better than a championship going down to the wire in the last race.

I'd imagine its frustrating as a rider to be so far ahead then loose all of that lead right near the end.

It would be a massive ask to win the 1st race, to win 2 in the same day, i can't see it happening.


Maybe kiyo won't race , shakey will crash twice and bridewell will win twice and win the championship?

Re the showdown, the teams/riders know the system we know the system yet they still race and we still watch, nobody forces us.

It kind of don't matter now, because Shakey would have won on the old points system, and he's won this way.
TB can't win, he hasn't got enough points.
He could finish 3rd 4th or 5th though....
