When I read that I thought you must be in Cardiff. I popped down to the Triumph open day in Bevans in April. They had a thruxton on demo. I didn't ride it as I was on the Bonny but two of my friends took the thruxton and were blown away by how nice they ride. An amazing first bike!

Very, very nice. On my shortlist for my next bike, in that exact colour! Is it the one with the yellow-ish stripe down the middle? Hard to see from this angle.

Well I'm about 400 miles in now and really starting to get used to the bike and build my confidence on the road.

Touch wood I've not dropped it yet.

500 mile service due shortly and it's overdue a clean as it hasn't had one yet.
