No more biking for Jon until 2016
Discussion
Jon, seeing as you dont have facebook, and you're fking off to the other side of the world for 18 months, i thought you should have a way of keeping in touch.
This is your official thread, stick some pics and stories up when you're not too busy having fun
Oh, whats your mates names from mugello, i have those photos of the hire car in the barrier

Just sold house I've spent 5 years doing up. Putting my stuff into storage including my old R1 (collecting it this coming Saturday from NL Mugello trackday we've just flown back from today).
Next Thursday flying off to Goa for month and a bit, then Burma for a month, then Phillipines, Borneo, Thailand, Malaysia, quick hello to ex pat mates in Oz / NZ, then fly to Mexico and head South on the chicken buses through Central America and down South America left hand side, turn around at the Perito Moreno glacier and go up South America on the right hand side. Not sure how we're getting back yet.
Will see if I can include some bikey stuff on the way. Might hire an Enfield in Goa as a starter.
Last time I did this I went to Laguna Seca and Phillip Island MotoGP's (and Bathurst 1000) but timing of Argentinian MotoGP looking awkward for us unless they move it's position in the 2015 calendar.

Who's doing your travel insurance? I may know someone who can sort you out.
Cheers for the offer John. Must have been typing my reply at same time, pushed submit and went straight to bed. Sorted on travel insurance, got it through STA where I got my flight tickets, underwritten by Allianz. The small print on them all is a nightmare, some don't cover trekking above certain altitude, some don't like more than 12 months, some don't like no homebound ticket booked, some clearly think backpacking at my age is a no no!
