Good to hear Rossi is ok.

Pleased for Jorge, after all the internal ste he has put up with from VR's side he has shown he really is the man to take it to Marquez long term.
+1 as a long time fan of Rossi, can't understand the bad feeling towards Jorge. After all, he was one of very few that made the effort to attend Simoncelli's funeral, which spoke volumes for me about his character.
He deserved the win. [and any other]
What internal ste's that then?

Last time round lorenzo just put a wall up down the pits, rossi seems to need a crowd around him whereas lorenzo seems to be quite the loner.

Rossi is a PR dream and Marquez is close behind.

As a rider though, I reckon Jorge is better than both of them. Marquez will get there, and will be better, and maybe sooner than we all think, but I still think Jorge is the class of the field.

I think he is the only one who can properly take it to Marquez, week in week out.

I'd love to see them on the same bike, it'd be awesome.

They are all PR machines - The amount of cheers Pedrosa got when getting pass Marquez shows this.

Good on em and good luck to all of them. Really don't get this slag the riders off club - All seems kinda Football fan'ish......

Lorenzo put the wall up?

Might want to tell Yamaha that!

VR told them to have a wall, and stopped data sharing between the two.

He's also been throwing his weight around over the closed season too, not just with Yamaha but Bridgestone.

Lorenzo has a small core group around him, lets Yamaha do his PR, Rossi has a massive group around him, has to do his own PR.

As others have said, both inside the paddock and out, Rossi is 50% a dream to work with, 50% a nightmare.

A great great rider, one of the alltime greats for sure (although he will never be as good as Roberts, Doohan or Ago in my book) However he is still a tt. A spades a transformer with that guy, at least with crutchlow, stoner, marquez and the like a spade is a spade, and they tell it like it is, good or bad.

Rossi put the wall up - Didn't want Yamaha to sign Lorenzo. That was made public.

Lorenzo did not want Yamaha to sign Rossi from Ducati - Didn't want to be his team mate - That was made public.

Rossi said I'm second best to Lorenzo I was a fool in the early Yamaha days - I felt that I had created the M1 for another rider to jump on and win.

That's it - Who cares - Rossi took a huge pay cut but wanted to win/be competitive again.

Admiration for all in the Paddock.

Agree on the last line, fully.

VR didnt take a pay cut per se, just a cut in pay from the Manufacturer, but that was made up with more from Monster.

2016 will be very interesting, control electronics, new tyres, and its his last year...

Can 'the old man' pull something from the fire or will he be quietly cursing the new blood?

I'm honestly not to bothered I'm a fan of Moto GP as much as I am Rossi these days - Am in admiration that he still wants to and can 'cut it' so much after all these years - I was at Donnington in 2000 and watched his first 500 win with roughly 5000 fans - Look at Moto GP now and he's still there not making up the numbers.

Marquez and co will keep the standards up now that's for sure.

The old man is still managing to take a race to MM, JL and DP. I'm sure he realises he can't go on for ever, but cursing the young blood....? Not while most of them are still behind him

He has had a much better season than last year for sure, and its been nice seeing 3 other riders capale of pushing marquez instead of either Pedrosa or Lorenzo.

Question is, could he do it on a cold sunday at croft in october? hehe

Regarding the old Yamaha "wall"...wasn't it Bridgestone that insisted on it, not Rossi - as Lorenzo was still on Michelins at the time? Yes it was carried on in the following year once the spec tyres came in, but I didn't think it was Rossi's initial idea.

There can't be too many people who weren't pleased at rossi's last win.

You'd have to be quite the lorenzo/marquez fan boy to not of gone fair play rossi for plugging away and winning, same with lorenzo last week he looked like a huge weight had been removed from his shoulders on the podium.

Why?

I might not think agree with others about crutchlow but it doesn't mean i or they can't have that opinion.

This place would be boring as fk if we all only supported rossi at the cost of every other rider.
