Agreed... Until Ducati have the same rules as everyone else I'm not going to consider them as doing well... Or dovi being a genius even...

Was nervous for Rossi earlier, hopefully the find a set up for the race. I'm thinking 4th or 5th with a battle with pol.

Marquez, ped and lor on the podium
the fastest ducati rider in race trim is Iannone, he has found a real pace on the medium tyre, if he gets it on the box i will be ecstatic... i put £10 on at the bookies for MM, DP, AI podium.

Bit of a nightmare for redding.

I thought the last few races were down to the pressure of him finding a seat for 2015 but seemingly not.

Shame to that after getting into the 2nd qualifying barbera was prevented from doing anything.

Fingers crossed its cold tomorrow so the ducatis can make the softer tyres left.

Its a power track, hence Scott getting his ass handed to him.

As for the soft tyres, no one will race with them, Iannone is racing on the medium.

Unless the predicted rain arrives.

This mornings sessions are delayed due to poor visibility !

That is likely to affect moto 3 / 2 race times , or will they just cancel the warm ups ?

Flipping 'eck

I really don't like the open class tyre rules. We've got three bikes on the soft tyres between George, Rossi and the Hondas. With the poorer conditions, the tyres might last but it's much more likely they will start well enough to mess the race up for the Yamahas and then fall away later on.

Good lord. Lowes crashes again.

5 More crashes this season (he is currently on 21) and he becomes the record crasher in a season.....

People think the different colour bodywork (orange, red, pink, blue) he's been using this year is all sponsorship based, but I think it's spare parts based smile

I've seen Miller's crash twice now and to me he didn't change his line. It was Marquez who moved into him from my view.

50/50. You can't expect to just ride around the outside of someone at this level. Marquez looked like he opened his line up a little, but that was always going to happen after the apex had been reached. Respect to Miller for trying it, but if he had any sense he'd have dropped in behind Marquez. It's not like it was the last lap.

Not only was marquez in front when they touched, he was on the inside and on the racing line, ive just had a quick look (im on motogp.com so rewound) and marquez on same line the two laps.

its a 50/50 for me, racing incident. But knowing Ajo motorsport they will bh & moan until he Marquez gets a penalty

That's my view too.

As talented as he is, is he good enough to be making the step up straight to MotoGP though? Especially when you have the likes of Redding looking for a decent bike and Rabat, Kallio and Vinales in Moto2. I just don't think he possesses, at the moment, the outright technical ability and certainly not the right race brain to cope with the missiles that are the big bikes.

Redding has a factory Honda next year so I doubt he is still looking.

Ah, didn't realise that was a done deal now. Last I heard his team were still considering Aprilias.

The point still stands though, namely there's more than one rider that should get to MotoGP before Miller.

He is entertaining though, whether on the bike or off it. hehe

I wonder if his MotoGP deal depends on winning the Moto3 title.

Scott is going back to Marc VDS who have secured the factory Honda. He is quoted as saying he prefers their way of doing things and it's like going home. Gresini have done the deal with Aprilia and Bautista has signed. Melandri is stopping with Aprilia and keen to get back to MotoGP He inferred in an interview that he didn't want to just make up the numbers though but in the same interview suggested it would be achievable for them to be great if we work step by step.

Fantastic! I knew VDS were trying to get the money together and Scott likes the team so that's awesome! biggrin
