CB1000R. About 100 until the last bar on the gauge starts flashing then 25-30 left after that. If I rode steady on a run I could squeeze 150 out of a tank but I'm not fussed really.

I find it best to open the cap and use a lighter to check the fuel level.

A GSXR1000 isnt too bad on fuel compared to a SP1..Ive no idea what my K1 does but an hour at a steady-ish 100-110MPH sees the light just come on..

I used to get about 38mpg in normal use & 45mph touring which gave 160-170 till I filled it. Oddly enough these days riding faster it's using less, 170-180miles normal & I can get 200miles before everything flashes (really on reserve) on a decent run. Seems to have got better on MPG after 60-70k, guess it's nearly run in?

320 without trying too hard, but the fuel light might have been on for ten miles by then.

What do I win? biggrin

About 250 miles, but there has always been a coupe of litres left in the tank.
Puff, either yours is the most uneconomical Pan Euro on the planet, you ride everywhere at the red line or you're fatter than Cyril Smith: you should be able to do better than that. I did 45 miles to get home today after the fuel warning came on up on top of the Pennines and it still hadn't run out - and I wasn't hanging about.

Apologies if you are fatter than Cyril Smith btw, maybe I should have said Chubby Brown biggrin

I ride the CG125 to work and back a few times and in excess of 100 miles (though I lose count). Occasionally inshake the bike to check there is still petrol sloshing around in the tank, and occasionally put £10 worth of petrol in before doing the same again.

Commuting on the bike costs pennies whereas taking my XJ 4.0 is typically about £4 a day in petrol. I'd happily half my fuel economy on the bike for more power, though.

Can't help feeling there's a gap in the middle there somewhere. I just can't quite put my finger on it.... wink

Nothing. I get 340 miles, also with about 2 litres left in the tank.

OK, so I have one more litre than yours. 1200 GSA LC, 30 litre tank.

185 miles is as far as I dare go on a tank with the ZZR.

200 taking it reasonably steady (K1300S)
I used to fill my tank at 204 miles (every second day) when my commute was 51 miles each way on my K1200S. My K1300S is slightly better on fuel so I would expect to get over 200 miles with reasonable ease. I currently fill up at 150 miles as that's 1 days commute.

On my F4 it seems to be very variable - I once got the fuel light at 68 miles, but generally it seems to be about 100 or so. Coming from my R1 it's a bit st and I actually ran the bike out of fuel the first day I had it - it managed 13 miles on reserve. This has made me really paranoid and I now fill up any time after about 70 miles.
