Was anyone else as disapointed with the quality of the finnish when they sat on one as I was? I I don't think I could get on with the wide bars and general ergonomics of it but the built down to a price quality had put me off long before this...
Oh.

I was so disappointed with this bike. I put a refundable deposit on one as soon as the shots were released. Properly looked forward to seeing it but just didn't excite me. The finish was okay ish but the switches seemed a bit cheap. Seating position was not for me so decided to get my deposit back and back to the drawing board. I thought I was ready to get slower bike and bimble about but this really put me off. Huge shame. It's not for me but will be awesome for some people I'm sure.

Ironically, saying 'end of' actually turns you gay. Sorry to break it to you like this. Hope you've got someone with you.

If he is accusing you of being gay would it not be off his fathers chin?

Are we still talking about PeteO being gay?

shut it gimps. biggrin

back on topic.

I sat on it at the show and thought it felt cheap, which was disappointing. Clearly built to a (small) budget and marketed to within an inch of its life.

The Moto Guzzi V2 11 in stone looks like a much better bet.

In fairness. The one in show is not the finished bike.

I can't see the final version having such cheap switchgear.

Well, after all that excitement!........

I got to the show and am afraid to say I had the same feelings as others. The scrambler just didn't fit me. It was like sitting on a 250 motocross bike. They let me sit on the Full Throttle version too and that was more comfy with its lower bars, but still felt a bit cramped with my 6 foot average build frame straddling it.

I didn't think the finish was bad though, as others have said. For £7k it seemed ok to me., just like many other Ducs.

I'd love to own one as a summer cruiser bike if I was loaded, but have moved my deposit onto a Mondter 821 Stripe instead. The monster just felt so much more comfy and connected than the scrambler.

I'm sure that Ducati will shift masses of them though.

I love it and I don't mind small bikes as I'm only 5'8. I haven't seen it in real life yet though. I really like the kawasaki w800 but what puts me off that is the pathetically weedy engine, so this ducati does actually tempt me as it will go alright.
