dunlop and guy martin, god that's going to take some man management.
Like herding cats!! Be interesting to hear the team de-brief too.

Guy will have no excuses if he doesn't get the results (unless it's a clean sweep 1-2 for BMW).

Will be also interesting to see where Guy turns for his 600 ride, potential for a GM team as per MD.
Id put good money on him running a Chris Meyhew built CBR600RR.
Could be a clean sweep then! #wishfulthinking.

Wouldn't be a surprise, lets be honest, BMW's racing foray is far more about PR than results and this is another case in point ...

They both speak at 100mph so at least the de-briefs will be done quickly.

If it's true, he could well win the TT next year...

I am however sceptical - yes MD isn't really a PR man, but lets face it, bar Guys TV work and other recent media stuff, he also isn't really a PR man. Teams in the past (Tyco im sure?) have had problems with Guy, as he doesn't like the PR work, and if he doesn't want to join in, he simply doesn't from what I understand.

We'll see...
Guy (says) he doesnt get paid for racing the TT and so doesnt have to do PR. Its his agreement with Tyco - they dont pay him, but he doesnt have to do the stuff he doesnt like.

Guy remains with TAS Suzuki next year, and the same goes for Michael with BMW. FACT.

Bloody hell.

I thought it was "my mate from the pub" type bks when I first read it on here.

Genuinely surprised and would like to know more about why it happened. I concur MR OCD, it's his best shot of winning for sure.

One of my biking buddies, who works in a BMW dealership tells me that Michael Dunlop is out, and Guy is in. Seems BMW weren't happy wth Michael as he's not a PR person.

Anybody hear anything.

Guy is all over the TV at the moment which raises his profile which in turn raises the profile of which ever team/bike he is with. And BMW being BMW want to sell bikes so deal done!! As much as I think Michael is fantastic on two wheels he has not got the PR profile of Guy (even though Guy hates doing PR work), a few blokes I know who ride bikes do not follow the TT and do not really know of Michael but they have heard of Guy through his TV work. Just my thoughts anyway!!
