Yesterday did appear to be national drive like a retard day here too. On the trip home I got cut up twice by spunkmonkeys who never even attempted to look & stuck behind every car as they'd all decided to do half the normal speed on every bit of road I use - 35mph on a straight clear 60mph ffs! followed by 15-20mph in every 30. Feck knows why it was warm & nearly dry.
I keep noticing this too recently. What the hell is going on with people?

Christmas cocks!

Went out today but it was miserable. Too windy so it wasn't really any fun.

Had to turn my heated grips off today, its too damn warm for winter gear. If it wasnt for the eain id be wearing leathers not half textiles.

Oh BN, it was 11c here too. Must just be you southern jockense who havent paid the heating bill.

Fecking lovely ride in today. Went to bed and it was blowing a gale outside, woke up this morning, not a peep. Also nice and warm, heated grips on low. Low I tell you! No fker on the road either. Piss easy.

This. Very quiet roads (M4) was quite pleasant for December although road spray was dirty in the bad winter way (smeary). Suspect Jan/Feb are going to suck though.

The muck being flung onto my helmet in this weather is ridiculous - black crap which turns my white helmet black. After 45 minutes my visor is filthy.

Other than that it's lovely and warm down here in kent, t-shirt under my textiles. Still some idiot drivers out there though, like the van this morning doing 25mph in a 50 zone, then when I'd overtaken the line of cars behind him and went into a 60 (NSL) zone, he speeds up to 70+mph rolleyes probably on the phone.

Completed my last riding day of the year to and from work yesterday. The numpty driver level was high on the way home last night but no real incidents.
Pub post work today means tube (urggh) to work today.

I very much doubt the bike will be uncovered or started before 5th Jan now since I'm on holiday until then.
This counts as my only real winter off riding time smile

The past 3 nights on late shift it has rained on the way home, 01.00 and pissing down! Oh the joys of biking, only snow stops me.

I am usually the same, only stop for snow, however for sake of two days left in work before 2 weeks off, I will take the car and be frustrated with traffic and the masses that struggle with the concept of driving

Was like a ghost town this morning here, I hit every green light and it took 35 minutes vs my normal 45-50 minutes. If only every day the commute could be like this! Was great apart from the pissing rain and wind... laugh

Would love to be out on the blade. Looking out of the window it looks lovely out there!

Babysitting the 2 month old this morning though, and it'll inevitably be cloudy and rainy this afternoon now.

Plus it had occured to me that the roads will be full of muppets
