I am quite near to taking the plunge on an ex Demo bike from a local dealer. A 2014 bike.
My question is see my other thread. Why are there several for sale at very low miles privately ?
There are several at 1200 miles, 900 miles and less than 2500 miles all private.
Are they hard to live with ? All the reviews say they are great , is there an owner on here with a view.
For me I think it all stacks up bar one nagging feeling I have , I am 6' 3'' and its maybe just a tiny bit small ?
Its just for fun and looning about no commuting or bad weather trips for me, I am old and soft now.
Any views appreciated.

A friend of mine brought one in April this year, he has done 8000miles on it and loves, he got the gel seat and a top box as it was better for filtering, we went to Spain and France this year, I was on a multistrada, I found it fine, ok it's no large comfortable touring bike, but does do everything well, he loves it!
I think they look like a great bike and a fantastic all round package, I'm wondering if people have bought them thinking they are a sportsbike and been dissapointed?
The same situation with used bike is going on with V1000s.
I think a lot of those are down to demonstrators from dealers,

Have not ridden one but saw one at the dealer and the looks really really struck me, very nice looking bike and if I didn't already have a trusty steed it would most definitely be on my shortlist.
I'm a measly 5'11" myself but it definitely felt a bit roomier than my old CBF600 (which is quite accommodating for it's segment). The footpegs are quite low down as well, so it's really set up for comfortable miles rather than "sport mode".
But, like I said, I've not ridden one, just sat on one.
Oh and in Kawa green
