Pravus, between my 2 bike, I probably only do 2 / 3000 miles per summer. Last year was lower, as will be this year.
Tom, post a picture of you doing a wheelie, and I’ll claim it as mine!
Thought I’d better update my virtual service history from last year.
Oil and filter done at the start of summer.
I thought the charging system wasn’t 100%, so checked that over to find the reg wiring dodgy. Pretty common on old Hondas.
Bought a cheap R1 shindengen mofset reg from eBay USA. Think it cost under £30 including delivery.
Used Triumph pig tails (£13) for wiring it up.
One of my wing mirrors fell off ( I’m sure one fell off last year too ).
Replaced with 2 non oe mirrors from a 2000 VFR. Got them from M and P, great quality too.
Got a carbon exhaust and a tank bag.
Parked up at Edinburgh Airport, going to the TT. Sure I saw Scunnylad’s bike parked on the front.
Hopefully in the next few days I’ll have the battery fitted, oil and filter changed, washed and a quick check over.
