I'm not organised enough for these early races, by the time I think about setting the qualifying to record, it's already finished!

The track looks a bit dry for running wets in that picture of Marquez, have the conditions been quite variable?

I can see the works Hondas clearing off tomorrow. George looks good, Rossi not quite on it and a fast crash at the end of FP4

Moto3 looks interesting (hoping for a podium for McP)

I've only just watched qualifying so avoiding the threads and sports news until I see it, watching the races tomorrow afternoon or evening.

Not much sympathy for Pol on that one......Dovi warned him of a bike problem, then Scott did the same.... He ignores them both, trashes the bike, and hurts himself......silly boyfrown

Pol's not having much luck this weekend, narrowly missed a car pulling across the pit entrance in warm up:

He really should have, has looked fast all weekend - but silly mistakes again

Great battle between Marc, Jorge and Rossi. Looked like really difficult conditions and Marc and Rossi in particular rode around them very well.

Miller rode well but he put in quite a few suspect moves, yet again. I suspose if you have such an enviable record of bumping people off at the corners, eventually riders will get out of your way. Rins was not much use as teammate there.
What i don't get is why bastianini has dropped form?

At one point this year he was gaining a bit of groundswell, pity as i've made a few quid of him this year, next year i think my money will be on binder and masbou for top 3 providing the odds are good.

I hate these early morning races, I end up staying up all bloody night and then wasting the Sunday! Still, got to be done....

Don't like Miller, he seems like a proper 'bully boy' thug- not the done thing old chap! smile Still a pretty good race.

Good on Rabat for the championship but there's something about Moto2 I just don't like: it sends me to sleep every single race. Don't agree with spec engines in the second to the top class of motorcycle racing - moto3 is more technically advanced with much more adjustability. Let other manufacturers supply engines as well and lets havesome fun.

MotoGP wasn't a 'classic' but still a good race: I really thought Rossi was going to do it again but he/his bike seemed to go off form about 4-5 laps from the end. I saw he had a moment and dropped back a bit before that but he caught up again quickly... then nothing. It must be gutting for Lorenzo being beaten by the old man smile I admit I'm a Rossi 'fanboy' and it's great to see him back on form. Rossi for 2nd in the championship?

Pedrosa, what a berk! I'm really not sure he deserves that bike (but what do I know?) and there are better candidates for it than him. But then, I could well be biased as I've never been a fan.

Yoda.

I see marquez's team have protested to race control about miller being too aggresive and kent for slowing down at turn 6 on the last lap and holding marquez back, both protests have been rejected.

Considering how Dovi did towards the end 4th could have been difficult.

I can only imagine the tantrums if Alex Marquez had pulled the same moves on Jack Miller. We'd still be able to hear the Aussie's whinging now.

I'd love to see Alex return the favour on the last corner in Valencia.

The Jack Miller love-in with the BT sport commentary guys is cringe-worthy, too. Particularly Keith Huewen, I'm not sure if a lap went past without him gushing over how good Jack Miller is on the brakes whilst seemingly ignoring Alex Marquez was often the one stoping Miller going straight on and missing the apex rolleyes.

Alex needs to toughen up for the final round, I can't imagine Marc being pushed around like that.

Its clearly been discussed, Marcs words after race direction had thrown protest out...

“I don't know the decision of Race Direction, but Miller was really aggressive, but if Race Direction say he is able to do it I think my brother has enough potential and enough body to do it too.”

You can bet your arse that several Honda M3 teams will suddenly be given factory spec motors for valencia and if it comes down to a scrap, my moneys on AM just nerfing Miller.

Alex should have just run into him after the umpteenth time of Miller doing that.

Moto 3 was certainly good viewing. The main event was a bit dull after it settled down.

We get some proper hard racing and the forums alive with the moans ... Hilarious.

Rossi doing it to stoner at Laguna was fantastic etc etc, but Miller on Marquez was wrong somehow. I realize everyone will change the scenario, but Rossi tackled stoner the same way at Laguna, he needed to fight him and he won. Miller won at Sepang in terms of the mental battle.

Motomatters article on this is excellent. Miller got pole because he got the tow right at the right time. His bike isn't the fastest and he rode very aggressively. Marquez leaves Sepang with Miller in his head. Miller has the advantage going to the last round mentally, he did what he needed to do.

This isn't knitting or basket weaving, he raced within the rules as set out by Dorna and confirmed when race direction threw out the complaint. Marquez's move at Aragon was also aggressive, it was lap 3 or 4, not the last lap and race direction ruled it the same as the weekend, aggressive but in the rules. No one will agree whether it was miller or Marquez's fault, we'll all watch the footage and draw our own conclusions.

Miller knew he had to narrow the gap and race rough. Mission accomplished.

Yes he is an annoying, wringing horrible little oik, but he mastered Sepang and Marquez on Sunday and it was fantastic to watch. If it'd been Rossi on Marc Marquez we'd have pages of love fest for Rossi. Millers performances over the last 2 rounds have been outstanding, like him or not his rides deserve credit, especially Phillip Island.
