New bike - to baffle or not to baffle.... advice requested
Discussion
I have a loud pipe on my RC8 and ran for a while without a baffle, not through choice, it broke the bolt and blew out.
I liked it but it was crazy loud and a bit embarrassing really. I only realised how loud it was when I took it to the Ulster gp. After the racing me and a few pals went for a bit of a belt round. I was giving it the beans coming down deers leap and my mate on his (loud piped) R1 moved out of the way to let me pass. I made a comment about him using his mirrors later and he said, I heard you coming!
Another baffle is in now to stay and its plenty loud enough.
