Chuffed for Guinters, I'm sure Gurner will get over it. Baz will understand Karma one day. Brilliant battles between Davies & Giugliano too. Rea rode brilliant on a totally outclassed Hernder! Only problem is now just watching repeats over winter. Better get me self in some training now.

Well chuffed for Sylvan. I like Sykes, but he really is a whiny bd.

Really enjoyed yesterday's races, was a shame baz went wrong early in second race, I was looking forward to him maybe mixing it up a bit, Glad guintoli won though.
Also I'm not on twitter myself but mate at work showed me tom sykes moaning like a spoilt kid at loris baz on there, proper schoolyard bickering from him!

TBH I think Sykes has a point, although bhing on social media is maybe not the best way to make it. At least he had the good grace to congratulate Guinters.
Baz is (was) employed by Kawasaki and if he's out of the championship race he should be doing all he can to ensure Kawasaki win the title - it's called being professional. When Baz is scratching round for a ride in a couple of years I take it he won't be phoning Kawasaki!
You could argue that Sykes lost the championship momentum over the last 3-4 meetings, but the fact is that Baz has (directly) cost him points which would have secured the title.

Oh well ... on to 2015. Can't wait to see how well Johnny Rea goes on the Kawasaki...

^^^^Sykes bhed like a little girl after Baz knocked him off at Sepang...which he obviously didn't do on purpose, but Sykes just wouldn't let it drop.... I don't blame Baz one bit for saying stuff him...
At the end of the day Sykes had to beat Baz and he couldn't...that's not Baz's fault...

As I said - it's about being professional. Baz could have sucked it up and tried to help Sykes win the title. He chose not to.
Yorkshire's 4th Superbike title will have to wait!

You have hit the nail on the head with this post.

I hoped Tom would win but it was a well deserved win for Guinters.

You mean like when Guintoli had to beat Melandri but couldn't at Magny Cours? Difference is he was gifted a place which in essence won him the title.

Personally I'd like to see no team orders, but I think since Aprillia started it, Baz should have conceded to Sykes. Instead Baz's ego got the better of him. I hope karma comes around in MotoGP for him.

Baz conceded a place to Sykes in the same race.

I know. But Gunitoli was gifted more points. It still basically gave Guintoli the championship.

Fair enough if Baz didn't want to help Sykes, but it wasn't Sykes giving the order. It was the team, he should have done everything in his power to help the team win when he had nothing to fight for. Especially since he effectively cost Sykes the championship by knocking him off in Sepang.

At the end of the day Sykes had a 44point lead after Laguna, he threw the championship away, all he had to do was keep beating Guintoli but he couldn't.
To whinge like a girl because his teammate didn't give him 2nd place smacks of someone who knows they made an arse of it, but wants to blame everyone else.

Baz conceded to the whinger at the same race...

Baz owes Sykes and kawasaki nothing..... Sykes has done nothing but moan about the Sepang incident and won't let it lie, Kawasaki have dropped Baz for next year...

At the end of the day, going into Qatar all Sykes had to do was finish behind Sylvain..... He couldn't do it

Sylvain knew nothing other than a win would do.....he showed he was up to the task and deserved to take the championship...

He owes Kawasaki nothing?? He wouldn't be anywhere without them and I would bet he wouldn't be going to MotoGP without them taking a gamble on him. You think he could show his team some gratitude. He might not owe Sykes anything but fairly sure he does to his team.

Also I'm fairly sure you would moan a lot if your team mate took you out and essentially stopped you winning the world championship. I know I would.

Being from huddersfield aswell I obviously root for Sykes but gotta laugh at the tweet. Well done on your 5th place.. You must be proud.
A bit childish but never mind.
Guintolli deserved it and he took it home. Fair play
