Yes. Although the warm to the car park would be a bit cold if it's like today!

The halls can get a bit cold as they empty out but you should be fine.

Stupid question, I'm sure they're all set up to take cards? I don't need to get cash?
You would assume so but I have memories of the infrastructure at the NEC being a bit rough behind the scenes, though probably it's better for such a big show?

I got a few bits and paid on a card.

They couldn't take Amex though, despite saying they should be able to...

Went to the show yesterday,

Managed to bag myself a new Lid £40 cheaper than I'd found it anywhere else so that was a bonus...
But highlight was definitely listening to this thing on the dyno...

What a noise!

Going on Friday, whats the current stock sizes like, is it still a good selection of S,M and L?

Is pricing competitive compared to shopping online? After some new casual boots like the TCX street boot.

I found some good deals to be had, bought some Sidi boots and a few parts towards the Gamma build, all for a great price.

H2R does indeed sound awesome but not quite as awesome a sight, sound and smell as the works RG500s on the Suzuki stand, worth taking the time to watch those be fired up.

In reference to the Q above re cash machines, there is a free to use cash machine outside the Natwest bank on the RH side of the building as you walk in from the main entrance, if you walk up the LH side, the machines all charge.

Very easy, too easy almost, to get around today, you could twist the grips & kick the tyres on everything with ease, couldnt have been many thru the gate today.

Yep still plenty of sizes in everything, plenty easy to spend money hehe
Boots, jacket and lid sorted.
But I spent so much time trying things on I barely had time to look at the bikes! I didn't even see the Suzuki stand banghead

I think everyone is taking cards, even the canteens.

Went today. Few things stuck in my mind. The R1 is bloody lovely in the flesh. Absolute result for me. Really nice. Also thought the new S1000RR is nice especially in black.

RCV was a bit meh for me until they make a proper one. The star of the show is the H2R. Wow! It sounds so amazing (and loud!) and the paint job is truly stunning. Its just the best thing!

Got a Micky D paintjob Shoei NXR with a dark visor for a bloody great price for my mate. Happy.

I just got back and I'm nackared. My thoughts was the h2r sounds immense although the looks aren't for me.the r1 is great as is the new s1000rr but the rcv was the star for me. Loved it. Just wish they'd of put it a bit lower so we could see more.

Loads of stock and deals to be had.

£4.50 subway meal deal costs £950 there so remortgage.

Cold outside warm inside.

Great day basically. So much to see I wish I could go back tomorrow

Yea the noise of the H2 certainly filled the hall, bit of a pita when you're trying to ask for a pair of boots to try on, what is the price of blahblah, it is *loud*. Just sounds regular Kwak though? Maybe I was too far away to hear it properly, doesn't seem to me they were really running it into boost though.
p.s. for that one shop I forget the name of, the one where the price on everything was "super deal best at show ask for price", that was a fcensoredking joke and that's why I didn't buy anything from you guys. Also, when someone asks you what the price is, do not use the same "about a million quid" line on everyone, you're not funny.

I saw the RCV display as very metaphoric. As in placed high up, out of reach, where mere mortals cannot touch Honda's finest.

-pretty much how I saw it Tim,and like both you and Y2Blade said ( and he did go back again ) would have liked to return a second day - couldn't, much as I wanted to but did see the bikes most relevant to me (R1 and S1000) I most enjoyed proliferation of cafe-racer style , exposed frame and novel engineering development bikes , the Aerials especially . Great Show for me , good film show, trials demo , helmet deal done - if you have'nt gone folks and are in doubt - just do it - what's the risk , but yes , take some supplies to eat and drink - ballache queueing to be fleeced !

Had a great day there yesterday.
If you have an Arai helmet I can't recommend he free helmet service enough. I had a cracked rear fin, if you like on my Chaser V. That was replaced for free! They gave my helmet a good polish too.......

It was bloomin warm there yesterday and fairly busy but still managed to get round everything in comfort and get my leg over every bike I wanted too.
Got myself some TCX street boots for 70 quid, happy with that.

I've orderd some road rash Kevlar jeans, fully lined with hip and knee armour for less than 120. Throughly impressed with the quality and fit would highly recommend visiting them, I've only ordered online because they sold out of my size.

All in all a great day.

Yeah it looks like retro modern is the theme for the next couple of years. So many manufacturers pushing the look and trying to sell a lifestyle.

I picked up a textile jacket for the winter commute. Whilst all the new bikes were lovely,I found myself concerned at the lack of younger people at the show, and saddened at the price of what is now an 'affordable' bike. Prices have risen much quicker than wages these last 10 years, its not the disposable income toy it once was.

Had a great day yesterday. Saw all the bikes i was interested in, very impressed with so much stuff. Managed to get a helmet too £30 cheaper than anywhere else so it covered my entry ticket. Missed some of the trade stalls, we just ran out of time.
