Its heavy.
Its STILL unreliable
It is underpowered. hellishly.
Not just my opinion, but the guys who ride them regularly, and one of my oldest mates who races one at the TT and short circuits too.
And the 2015 wont make 200. itll be 180 tops, 200 at the crank just doesnt cut it when BMW & Kawasaki are making that at the wheels.
It has one thing going for it though. Alongside the ZX10R & Fireblade, its the only 1000cc sportsbike worth saying looks 'nice'
191 at the wheels more like it. its splitting hairs though as with the immense power that these already have, you wouldnt realistically be able to tell a 20bhp difference anyway. Its STILL unreliable

I had a retune and went from 161 to 183rwhp and couldn't really tell the difference
Revealed...
'One RC213V-S built per day at HRC. Cost for UK buyers is £137,000. That’s €188,000 for Europe. Production ends at end of 2016'
According to MCN
A road bike that should only ridden on track, and will be purchased by people unlikely to use them properly (me included if I could afford it), but unlikey to be used at all.
I'm not sure I see the point but then I don't have that money spare (std PH answer).

Some of the super rich do use their exotic toys. Check out Rowan Atkinson.
He's no billionaire! The point being, some who can do, just for the avoidance of doubt that I was suggesting Mr Bean had more wealth than Warren Buffet or anyfink.

The end of that advert is brilliant, someone in the marketing department did a good job on that one.Honda could sell these to the rich Arabs who come to London for the summer, they could use them to filter past their mates in Lamborghinis.

Normally I like these daft and expensive things, but this I'm not getting unless it's going to be an investment. Just seems a fancy Fireblade trading off pseudo GP PR.
I think its the colours. 250's are knocking around in the tri colour scheme. If it was all carbon like the above I'd be donating kidneys in a shot.
I like it though and they will all sell

Does this make it legible for Superbike racing?
I doubt it can read as well. I thought homologation was appropriate to the total amount of bikes that manufacturer makes? In a word. No.
Year 1 = 125
year 2 = 250
year 3 = 1000
If they make 125 in time for next year they can.
I like the look of this a lot but £137k is too much. If it were £60k I'd be seriously tempted but at £137k I would only be able to seal it into the garage in a cocoon as riding it would likely destroy the value.
Will wait and see if the prices drop enough in the first few years to make it worthwhile but really I would want to use it and wouldn't make sense for that I think.
Might be crap on the road (in the hands of average riders) which is another problem
