Not taxed since 1988, might still be around, because the reg. could have been sold off(it spells 'Heron'??) and have a different reg??

Looks nice enough, but not a fan of the tank. Think you might have the wrong thread.

OOOPS !!!!!!!!!!! In all seriousness I regularly tell folk this is my 1972 CB450, but the buggers a 1992, need to dig out some pics of my old T500, now that was definitely a 70's bike..............now where to start looking ????????????

Moderator just remove the post, wouldnt want to start a forum tiff.

My old RD400 before it expired on the military road in Northumberland. The engine seized while I was overtaking an old couple in a mini metro, don't know who was the most shocked.One of the pistons had seized the conrod made a bid for freedom through the crankcasefrown

I was heading home eastwards it happened just next to whittle dene resevoir. I am on that road most weekends when the weathers good. It's a good route to the twisties;)

Here's what I always say was 'my first real bike' (after a moped and a CB125S) this is Feb 1979 on my parents drive, RD350B, two-four seat, ARE mag wheels, Michelin PZ2's, drilled disc, lot's of surplus stuff taken off. Some time after the pic, I put a set of J&R pipes on it; I was a happy boy!! Ran it on Bel-Ray oil; whatever happened to Bel-Ray??
