Same here. I filter recklessly in my car as well!!!!!!
Haha, well it was meant as more of a rhetorical statement. Really it is a matter of judgement, certain places I find are more predisposed to filtering than others. Certain places I won'd filter at all at be it due to design, signal timing etc etc.
I just think the statement it is reckless is somewhat stupid.

I think we have consensus then. Between a handful of us anyway. Really it is a matter of judgement, certain places I find are more predisposed to filtering than others. Certain places I won'd filter at all at be it due to design, signal timing etc etc.

This is not filtering or lane splitting, it is dangerous inappropriate under and overtaking.
Dangerous riding plain and simple.
It certainly damages the reputation of bikers generally and the way in which other motorists perceive us and treat us out on the roads.
If you have any evidence to prove who these riders are then you have no hesitation in shopping them for the sake of many lives...

YAWN. Two halfwits on a day out, bothering everyone. That has all been done before with a lot more skill and a lot more style:

Please do us a favour and pass their names to the law. They might like bikes but doing that means we all get st on because of the lowest common denominator.
I like going fast as much as the next guy, but there is a time and place for it. If they can't differentiate the two it is best they are not on the roads all together.
To be honest anyone finding this "cool" and "awesome" deserves sterilisation.
Also to whoever said that filtering encourages reckless behaviour. Why not trade in the bike and get a car?

Does ghost rider give us a bad name aswel ?
No. Even though it looks like he's doing exactly the same as the 'halfwits' in the featured video and it's just as dangerous he lifts his front wheel (cool) and the film is shot more professionally (cool) and he has a cool name (er..cool).They are all numpties really, how much margin for error was there with that coach pulling out? If it had pulled out a second or two earlier it would have been a very different video.
Just look at the video that is currently at the top of the same facebook page of bikers doing the exact same thing. The problem is that if a normal driver changes lane in a traffic clad motorway that is doing between 20 and 40mph and collects a bike that was undertaking them after moving from the outside lane at, say, 90mph (I have no idea of the speeds in this video) the biker will be dead, and the driver will have to live knowing that they have 'killed' someone despite it being (mostly) the bikers fault.

Would you be saying the same if someone had been doing the same in a car? Is it really any different (except the biker is more likely to die should there be an impact) ?
