Was it a DSC meet ? Lol
No lol, I was given a life ban waaaaaay before I got the Duke

But I do remember quite a prominent member of DSC called Roy who had one of the first 999 models when they came out. A mate on his Ducati turned up that was "different"(the model had different colour fairings) and Roy comes along in front of the owner/everyone and says "Nah, dont like that" and walks off.

I thought, if he's a "respected" member, then this club is the wrong club for me!

I had the same thoughts about another owners club. A respected guy was in actual fact a fking great big leery pervert and spouted all sorts of bullst and never took responsibility for the number of times he got knocked of by buses.

I made a ranting post on their forum and turned my back for ever.

As for this thread...well, I currently have a soozookee

soon to be replaced by a Yamaha don'cha know don'cha know foorrr facks sake

Leery pervert?

Harley Davidson, then Ducati.

I've met members of both species, completely bonkers.
Mind you, I've met owners of both brands that are decent folks as well and wouldn't mind owning a duc if the right one comes along. Just that some people owning either seem to be elevating brand loyalty to the next level.

It doesn't matter what bike you have, if you post on a bike related forum you're an utter fud.

Wait, what?

So if you need to replace something and you ask your fellow owners for advice, you're a fud? confused
Am I need of a whoosh parrot?

He's a Belgian that bought the best bike Honda make and it broke down. That would make me argumentative.

No one's mentioned Guzzi's yet.

It's a particularly Scottish slang word for a ladies front bottom.
Similar to but we're not allowed to say that.
