Hard to call him isn't it; one of the 11 'aliens' (as the other riders call them) to lap above 130mph; yet he always seems to be 'almost' there.
I can't put my finger on it at all; if you read the stats, look at his circuit knowledge, and the rides he has had; he should have won a TT.
He's had his share of bad luck, but just something niggles me that there is an ingredient missing.
In terms of commitment and desire to win it, he appears to be up there with Michael Dunlop and John McGuiness; I'd love to see him on the top step; I just have this knawing feeling he won't ever stand on it at the TT; I hope I am wrong!
Everyone is ignoring Peter Hickman in the TT2015 guessing game, surely the most amazing newcomer's performance; 129.1mph average and 11th place in the Senior, smashing Josh Brookes record; he must be the newcomer of a generation?

Guy has had his best chance, if he hadnt binned it in the senior 2010 i truly believe that was his race. He has done well on the Suzuki but he never really had a chance as its an inferior bike.
I dont think he is ready for retirement and for one i literally cant wait to see him on a BMW. As already said he has everything needed to be 1st and his record in other road races (NW200 excepted) he has won quite a few. I remember him saying this year on an interview at TT2014 that he wont ride the 100% level that M.Dunlop rides at, i.e keeps some factor of safety in, whilst I doubt he would admit it, his big crash at 2010 slowed him down a lot. 2015 will be his best chance in years and I just hope he nails it.
