For those that might be interested in the older stuff. I went to Hesketh motorcycles today, what an amazing task they're taking on. They are building a fantastic bit of kit. When we got there they had finished dismantling the finished bike ready for 3D scanning to enable production of all the parts. So here's some pics of the original, what the bike will look like and the engine. Looks like it'll be stunning!!!

A friend had seen the bike assembled and said it was stunning.

Shame it's no longer their own engine in the new 24, although it certainly took a long time to get the V1000 lump sorted out. Having said that the new bike does look superb and the JH link won't hurt sales with buyers of a certain age.

It's a mammoth task, building an engine on top of what they're doing would be a tall order. It will look gorgeous though no doubt.

Big feature on this and the other British niche manufacturers in this month's Bike magazine for those that are interested.

What does this have to do with cottaging?

Buy a Hesketh? Go cottaging? You get sha...d in both cases?

Both have their genesis as a pastime of the aristocracy?
