Putting my boots on this morning (sidi vertebra II less than six months old) and the zipper came off in my hand.

What a bastard!

Anyone else experience this? How'd you get it fixed?

Take them back where you bought them (Sale of Goods Act, not fit for purpose, etc). Especially for an expensive pair like those.

That's not normal. I've had my version ones for some 3 years and about 20k miles (ish) and they are still fantastic. I'd take them back.

I've lost the pull tabs on my jacket sleeves. My solution was take strong safety pin bend out loop at the end feed through and then wrap in insulation tape. This seems a lot stronger than the originals. and for my next Blue Peter project I will .......

Unfortunately, I bought them at a show and can't remember who I got them from. With any luck I will still have the receipt. I guess I know what 'll be doing this weekend.

my friend got a cut in the side of his due to that sharp adjuster thing some 8 months after buying them, and got a new pair for nothing.
