Having picked up my new (to me) FZ1s last friday, my bike plans for 2015 are ride here, ride there, ride everywhere

Just seen the date for donnington MotoGP...it's wedding aniversary weekend so might not be able to honour that promise to myself that I made last year. I will go to snetterton BSB, and brands BSB, and also go visit places around the UK. My wife has said that for my birthday we should do a trip to wales for the bank holiday weekend in may so I'll be planning that

Sold my 125 and purchased a CCM 404 DS which has been rebuilt back up over winter. Can't wait until February to get it out and take it down a few lanes.

Yes, use the 30. Simple, but very effective. Absolutely waterproof beyond all doubt.
Does need a fair bit of content to give it shape enough to attach effectively though.

Is 30 litres enough for nearly a weeks worth of stuff? I was thinking maybe 3x 20s. Probably overkill.

Not much planned bikey this year other than some communal rideouts with TVAM, riding to Le-Mans in June to watch the 24hr and new baby due in July has scuppered other bike related plans, but suspect I won't mind too much.

So, a third of the way through the year already. What has everyone achieved from their list of plans?

Mine is going better than planned. Ticked off the track days with 4 this year. It would have been 5 but one got cancelled.

Still getting out on the road as usual so that's fine.

Not managed the Scotland trip yet but plenty of time yet.

Mines going pretty much to plan al be it slightly better. The r1s up to 1300 miles and I've done some decent big rides out already so I'm finally used to it.
My tt plans had to be dropped but booked 3 days in Valencia with no limits in October so that's an upgrade. I'd planned on doing 3 track days but that's probably going to be doubled by the end of the year after buying a cheap track bike.

Have read and enjoyed your site and posts on PH. This is cheeky but I am interested in the Northern Spain leg, do you by any chance have your routes saved in Google Maps?

I have our routes as gpx and itn files. E-mail me via my profile or via David Mc on the Old Gits website and I'll send them to you.

PS I'm glad you liked our website. Feel free to sign up to the mailing list if you'd be interested in joining us on future trips.

Rdie my new to me street r on roads that aren't less than 20 minutes from my house. I might even go camping On it up north thought probably not as I hate tenting.

Several epic track day tours down south with prolapse or Mckeann. They don't know they have been invited yet. Or maybe Marko if he wants to ride somewhere other than fking Knockhill.

Go to see moto go at donie

Try not to crash.
wtf was I thinking, CAMPING, GTF.

oulton trip
Anglesey trip
croft trip
Donnie and oulton trip done

not bad considering its not even may, 2,000 miles covered roughly in total.

I think I promised to ride more this year, but I don't think I'll manage that, mainly because last year I would ride the bike anywhere, this year a change in circumstances mean that if I'm getting my bike out (as it's a right old fk on in my new garage) I'm going to get value for my effort and I'll be riding it quickly.

I also probably promised to get another ride with Castex sorted, as our first jaunt ended quickly due to his Ducati not playing along. Now he has a bigger, better and frankly beautiful Ducati and we're probably going out this weekend as long as the weather is decent.
