What I've done so far.

I was out Wednesday on a Motocross race track getting my arse kicked off an 11 year old on an 85cc Kawasaki.

Even giving me half a lap head start the little st still beat me before I finished a lap.

That's quality. smile

My 16 year old cousin is getting himself a race rep 125 and hasn't got the fear so I'll probably have to break his leg so he doesn't muller me on ride outs.

Last day of July and only a limited time of summer left before Halloween, Fireworks and Christmas. Any more updates?

So, a third of the way through the year already. What has everyone achieved from their list of plans?
I bought a bike and have ridden it around 100 miles.

Great!
I have now ridden 230 Miles.

The bike has no MOT and is sat under a blanket.

Project "waste of money" is going splendidly.

As much as I don't want to I think it's probably sale time.

Oh and I bought lots of carbon fibre and a power commander.

Most of which is in a box somewhere.

I'm betting you only have done 230 miles because of your new Fiesta Scott.

(Also is that an X802 helmet? Is it any good?)

Only had the fiesta two weeks. It's just the bike is in a garage nowhere near me.

The gay mobile is a hoot though.

Yes mate, best helmet I have ever had, right pain to take off though when buying milk.

Very light and good wind protection

Had a goal at the start of the year to find something sporty, comfy and naked. Test rode all the usual suspects and ended up with this lovely thing. Just got it back from its 1st service ready for the weekend smile

Yes, I do love an athletic comfortable ride, and this one certainly delivers, could just do with being a bit more noisy but thats easily fixed wink

Still on the hunt for a track bike. Professional qualifications and buying things for the house has taken over.

Still need to sort tow bar, and trailer.

Confidence is building in myself and the road bike.

Got fat. Leathers no longer properly fit around the waist.

Operation lose weight in progress.

Plans?

Buy an SV650S:

Keep the CG125 chugging along until the Suzuki is in the bag, and then sell it.
This didn't work out. The plan to buy an SV650 turned into a plan to buy a Speed Triple which turned into me actually buying the T595 Daytona I actually wanted...

The pump decided to work, then not work, then work really well, then not work last night. It was either Audi brakes, or the lever back to the bar, but totally unpredictably. The warning lights were either all on or all off, along witht he speedo dropping to zero occasionally. A tad scary in 3 lane traffic, so wimped out and crept home (40 miles) at 30mph keeping well back from the cars in front and not doing my usual style of filtering (which often relies more on luck than judgementhehe).

Simple to pull out the servo and pump. I think the m/c sizes were the same between the ABS and non ABS bikes. I'll hopefully have a bit more feel at the lever after the servo-ectomy.

Shouldn't even be in the UK this year let alone biking around.

Fortunately I've not even done a tank of fuel on the R1 since landing back in April due to being waylaid on other stuff and it breaking on its last outing. Subsequently bought myself a track only GSXR that I cannot ride due to knackered knees.

Onward and upward.

Buying my first ever bike would be a start, if I can find room in the budget for it this year, in amongst the fairly hefty bills we have looming. smile In other words, being able to sneak it past the wife.
Well, I managed to achieve this smile.

Had my new toy 2 weeks, just doing an oil, filters and plug change this morning although pissing rain has stopped play for the moment.
