I'm literally just in the door. I'm currently sat on the toilet with biblical runs. It's maybe that hot dog. Or the bbq

I shall tell a tale of a tested friendship verging on the brink of collapse.

A 70 mph detour, south down the fking A1 adding on and hour and a half to the run whilst my Co driver sipped a beer.

A Pink hotdog, grit filled

My final acceptance that I need to seriously fling money at my suspension after a fight with it all day.

A skodas battle with it's suspension

A van that nearly wiped us out on the way home.

The mere suggestion of unloading prolapses bike a mile from his house at a fking grave yard so as to not to wake his neighbours up

A 6 hour journey home that would have taken 3 with a driver who couldn't actually read signs he was that tired

My worse day on track

Cabin in the woods camping

A man's plight against hunger and low blood sugar. Stressing out to fk becoming a very snappy man.

A 30 something man with a degree who can't roll a fking fag to save him self

A cut calf from wheeling a trailer in my garage myself at midnight

There's loads more but I'm waiting till I calm down as currently I never ever want to do a fking track day ever again. It's was fking horrible. Words cannot describe just how buckled I am and I still need to shower shave and get ready for two interviews tomorrow first thing.

One things for sure. Me and Prolapse would be best not speaking for a few days

It was like a lovers tiff I was incredibly grumpy he was incredibLy..... Relaxed being driven everywhere by his chafuer
Glad you enjoyed yourself.

Sounds like you need to man up and lay off the pills and energy drinks smile

I was exhausted after the day, got up at 8.30am after a great nights sleep in my kingsize bed, had a leisurely drive to the circuit after stopping for a proper bacon sandwich and bean to cup coffee, arrived at 10am to the garage to find mostly smiling faces, hung around for a few hours chatting to folk and catching up, got back in the car at 3pm and was home by 4.15pm as I got stuck behind a tractor for 3 minutes so it made me late, It nearly made my blood pressure rise, but didn't thankfully.

I'm on some sort of adrenaline come down this morning. Yesterday I felt like Rossi....well okay maybe more melandri ha today I'm lay in bed being shouted at to bath a baby and get ready for work.
I really had an awesome day despite being nackared. I fell asleep at lunch time kind of half in my car half hanging out.
It has made me want to buy a much newer 600. The thing is I never thought about it when I was out and I had a massive grin on for nearly every lap it's just in the pits when you see all the other bikes lined up.
Maybe next year. Still can't justify selling the r1 as I love that for the road and selling it to buy two 4k bikes would only make me want to save up for another r1 in time.

Anyone ever thinking about croft take a translator. I must of looked a right dope as half the time Itd take me a few seconds to respond as my brain tried to piece together what people were saying. Mtb is definitely the worst. I don't even think Scottish people can understand him

I've calmed down now I've had some square sausage, irn bru and a few hours kip. But seriously that was utter hell.

Loading up and getting to a track day can be a tad stressful at times.

Being late, lost, tired etc when you another body it doubles

For most of you this is only a hour or two away then it's done try six

I must admit, I tried talking to him but he must think I'm rude or stupid as I just stared back with a blank expression.

Sounds like it was another fun filled journey for you Alex, and the grit in your hotdog may have had something to do with dropping it on the floor.

Away take a fk. I am not that incoherent that you can't understand me. Try meeting a scotsman from Peterhead or Aberdeen then you will wonder what the fk they are saying

I could correct lots of MTBs account of events, but I'll just say I turned 29 on Thursday and he is 27, for some reason the implication I was 30-something was the only thing I feel I can't let go..

Well I enjoyed myself. It was great to meet you all and thanks to the more experienced guys for offering advice, and in the case of Loon and BN and the trailer, constructive abuse.

Thanks Graham as well for twiddling with the suspension, placebo or not I really did enjoy the last two sessions far more than previously, and thank you for commanding MTB to throw his hot dog on the floor for all our amusement.

Cheers guys. Good to meet you all.

Good to meet you too mate. It's nice to have someone else to chat to that has a similar level of riding experience.

Finally got the knee down too, first time it happened I st myself and quickly pulled my leg back in. And the second time.
Felt comfortable after the third time though. Small victories!

I also feel bad for the older chap I think. Who stacked it quite badly on the first corner after the sighting laps. The instructor literally peeled off and around the first corner was a guy on his back with the bike on top of him, didn't look fun.
He's a mate of Tight5 and a good lad.

Broken collar bone and concussion but should be relatively ok - high sided on a cold tyre apparently.
Just spoke to him, his head is ok now, had his collarbone looked at - they don't want to plate it, he wants it plated. But his back and ribs are really sore (nowt broken) so I made him laugh a couple of times !

awesome! one of the best feelings imo. others arent arsed and are fast enough that lap times matter but i still love getting my knee down. The right straight after the first chicane bit that tightens up to the 2nd chicane was a brilliant corner.

Some guy did overtake me off the left of the track on the first chicane and still managed to get back on the track and then round that right hander in front of me.

I didn't manage it on that corner (Hawthorn?), it was Tower bend. I think the first time was after passing someone and I went into the bend quicker than before. Rather than do what I did at Oulton I settled myself down and looked through the bend.

I know it's nothing to the more experienced guys but was a real confidence booster on the day.

It was those smart as fk £400 leathers that made the difference I reckon.
