I might come down for the Saturday track day if there are spaces left, depending on weather. Leaving it to the last minute to book as my spare sets of wheels are off being powdercoated so no wets at the moment.

Anyone know the deal with hiring tyre warmers on site?

I've not used them before, but want to give them a go before I buy some of ebay.

Don't bother at this time of year. I don't put them on wets anyway and you'll struggle to keep the tyrewarmer generated heat in your tyres on a cold or damp (or both) track anyway.

If it's dry then ill use them too. My comment wasn't a dig but to a newer / less experienced track rider they don't work the tyres hard enough to keep the heat in, so ironically risk falling off more as the tyre cools as they do more laps.

Obviously I'm awesome so none of the above applies.

Me too although only on dry tyres as I thought the general consensus was that they shouldn't be used on wets anyway?
