First good day for ages up here this morning, not been out since before Christmas so told the missus I was popping out on the Street Triple for 10 mins just to turn the engine over, make sure everything was ok, etc....
Hour and a half later was still blatting around Shropshire, missus not best pleased when I got home...

First ride today in a very long time, accidentally (on purpose) ended up at bahnstormer and tried out an S1000R. What a ridiculous machine. I might have to buy one this year sometime. I did actually achieve my first wheelie today accidentally.
I went with this guy and had my first proper run out on my Blackbird since last year. Forgot how quick and smooth it is, although the suspension is noticeably haggard now (25k miles), Then nipped to WM Snell to swing a leg over a Pikes Peak Multistrada – looks great in the flesh.Had a very good bikey weekend
Spent yesterday driving around doing bikey stuff in the new chucklebus. Dropped zippy in for a service, drooled over a early 80's TZ before heading over to an off road centre 40 miles away. Got what I needed, the bacon sandwich in their café was just what needed. Thought I would buy some Klim enduro pants while I was there.
The one thing I noticed at the two bike establishments I visited is that sometimes a passion shines through making the shopping experience so much better than those that just see it as their job. Thank you to Keys of Worthing and Freestyle of Marks Cross, nr Tunbridge Wells.
Today I went over to Hungry Hill, Aldershot to watch classic twin shock trials. Absolulety brilliant. Watched a load of old duffers manoeuvre bikes built out of bull iron around the tightest of spots. Some of these guys were at least 70 and made it look a piece of piss. Respect!
I've been a bit busy as well replacing the R1. But you'll have to wait
