These seem to have petered out a bit (Mitzy?!) so what is everyone up to?

I'll be fitting a new exhaust and remapping my trackibike this weekend, and just doing a couple of other bits and pieces ready for the upcoming season, might even get it mot'd so I can have a run up the road on it to check it's all sorted but its a bit cold at the minute.

Probably a pedal-powered bikey weekend for me.

Those who live in North Yorks, watch out for the rozzers this weekend: http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news--general-...

What a waste of resources, there'll be about 3 bikes out this weekend, at least they are not doing it in the middle of summer, what utter tts.

I'm finishing wiring up my new workshop and attempting to build some ramps to get the bike in. The ramps thing is a big job.

If there's time I may start the deep clean and big service on the bike for the new year. It'll be nice to finally be able to move the bike to the indoors after 3 years of her living outside like a common troll.

Nowt this weekend since as usual have been riding in the London 'summer' weather to and from work this week.
I say summer as apparently we don't get proper winter down here according to some smile LOL
I therefore must have imagined the amount of ice on my car and bike cover this morning - won't be touching the bike until Monday morning after my commute home later.

No bikey apart from booking MOT and finishing putting the blade togeather

off to Wales tonight to see a mate i'm touring with in May. Arranging times and where we like to go. Taking the GT86 so the plan at the moment is france, Luxembourg, Germany, down through Switzerland and into italy i hope

Other than that chilling

The bikey weekend started a bit early for me, after a service, consumables, and a clean I have just taken my KTM out for a pre-MOT trip ride about.

As the garage was open and had the gear on also went out on this for a bit, surprisingly good around town...

I'm taking my cylinders and cases from the Mito to mick abbey for some porting and case matching tomorrow. Might bring the Mille home at some point if I can. Still some little bits to do on that... I think I'm gonna have to run a longer chain to get the 180/60s I have on.

Got a work bench to assemble and might geek it up with lots of tools to put in their right place in my tool box etc. Seriously exciting stuff.

You know damn well how satisfying it is to have all your toolbox in order after muddling through for a year.

That's before you realise how many sockets you've lost...

I'm going to daydream about sunny summers days, riding my FZ1 with my wife on the back, off for a picnic or an ice cream or to see some sights

That's about it

Oh I guess I'll switch on the trickle charger for my SV battery too

Due to only getting about an hour per week to myself, I shall mostly be continuing the winter cleaning of my bike. This week, the left rear-set will be coming off for a good clean up.

Although this does sound utterly dull, it's quite nice as my garage is carpeted and has a great stereo so it's a nice relaxing way to spend time away from work and toddler parenting.

Nah. Just the power tools, lump hammer and wrecking bar. I suspect there's something quite telling about that!

Heated grips were delivered today so will be fitting them along with a relay and a cigarette light/USB socket combo, so a trip to halfrauds to pick up the wiring, terminals, relay etc.

Just remebered I wanted to pick up a better set of bar end weights too, can add them later. Wanted some new grips too, that may be an issue...

Gonna put the bandit 1250 up for sale i think. So put the lower fairing back on it, take the givi top plate off it.

Apart from that i might get an hour or so in the garage continuing to put the 600RR back together as part of its "restoration".

Good luck, I'm sure afterwards you'll think "that was easy, what was all the fuss about?!".
