Well been here for a few days and it's getting busier all time. Mountain already closed couple times yesterday. Met some Dutch journos riding the new R1 and kawasaki h2. Spoke to them for bit at the bungalow. Then the practice last night. Already going quick on the twins through crosby on first lap. Michael Rutters twin sound awesome. Don't know what it is based on but it's sounds different to the others. Have great time if your coming over.

If I heard correctly a 60 year old male visitor died in a single bike accident at Les Graham memorial

Usually yes. Many a time you are held up while accidents are cleared up though!!

I rode the course for the first time yesterday and again today, half in the rain.

I'm taking it really easy, some fast guys out there during the day, loads of Panigale's. Even riding round at a sedate speed you really appreciate how mad it must be for the racers at their kinda speeds.

Lovely island though, plenty to see. My only gripe is the abysmal network coverage, checking live weather or Google maps out and about is a chore, EE want £7.50 for 10mb, the robbing bds, I only paid £2 for 100mb in Prague! Hotel WiFi is just about useable for updates like this, Facebook photo sharing etc.

I watched yesterday's practise from a pub on Union? May try to get onto the main grandstand tomorrow, weather depending.

Enjoy it guys smile

If you go there once you'll probably be hooked on the place.

Looks like a couple of young lads in a car decided to explore the scenery.

You are roaming, and IOM is not EU so the recent legislation to keep prices down doesn't apply. Even making and receiving calls will be expensive.

Buy a local PAYG sim and just tell important people you have a new number for your visit.

Vodafone covers IOM on EuroTraveller so £3 to use your existing data and minutes over there.

Booked my ferry for TT2016 last night, taking a good friend across for first visit.

Chris, if you could only go over a for a few days, what period would you go for? I'm thinking of going next year, but can't go over for the whole week.
