So what is everyones packing list for the week? Will it be cold or shorts and T Shirts? Pack waterproofs or just buy some there if the weather is crap?
Going in a car makes it a lot easier, if it rains I don't get out the car. From the forecast it looks cool. Going tomorrow, good weather Saturday for pitching tent and Pre-TT Classics, Sunday is iffy, then cool for the week. Might make it easier for the chairs during practice week as they always get blinded during practice. Could also keep some of the midges in hiding.

Sailing out on Wednesday afternoon, should get there just in time for evening practice. Staying until Sunday 14th June, so will see most of practice and all of race week.

I genuinely feel like a kid on Christmas Eve at the moment, so excited! biggrin

I'm looking forward to this! Well as much as anyone can look forward to watching the ITV4 highlights anyway!

What's the best way for me to book something for 2016? I don't think Steam Packet have the routes available yet?

Sat aboard the Ben-My-Chree right now, think I was the 4th bike on!

Glad I got a reserved seat, the N-whatever lounge in nice. Actually have 2 seats after my friend dropped out. Nap time I think!

Jungle drums and smoke signals update:
The New R1 is looking like a "nightmare in a bubble car".

MD is throwing his toys about, Not only is there the known problems with oil but it's drinking more fuel than desirable during testing down at Jurby, as a result showing real concerns of it running out of fuel.
They are having big headaches and time is running out.

Rumour has it Hunts are looking to supply him with a Honda now as he is struggling to get hold of a BMW again due to bridge burning.

We'll see.....watch this space

Gotta love the TT, never a dull moment.

Edit to add: It's the SUPERBIKE that is causing these issues, not the SUPERSTOCK bike.

Those crossings are the best tbh, why waste daylight on the water?

I ALWAYS book the early hours crossings.

Ride up to Liverpool, invariably getting soaked on the way up, park up at the terminal, wander off to a pub to get cross eyed then ride it (v.carefully) onto ferry. Sleep on floor of ferry in full leathers next to a one arm bandit thing as the boat crawls it's way across, then wake up to find yourself circling outside the harbour entrance waiting for 6am. Haven't done it for a few years - will watch it on telly this year.
