Any advice...I had the S1 (loved it...got nicked) so another S1, GSXR, ZX10 or fireblade as I've never tried any of the others??
For on the road and track days.
Any thoughts?
Thank you!

All 1000cc sports bikes are good these days. You'd have to be racing at a decent level to determine which one you preferred.
I personally like the blade these days but the last 1000cc I owned was a Bmw S1000RR in 2010 when they were launched.
Go and test ride a few?

I'd suggest an MY15 S1000RR if you liked your last one. The reviews are suggesting the new one is far superior to its predecessor.

New R1 looks to be the dogs danglies if you're looking at a new bike. That would be where my money goes.

As has already been said, most companys offer a good bike, but there are three clearly at the top of the tree

The new BMW is THE daddy for engine. Remains to be seen if the chassis is as good as the other two though...

ZX10R has the best blend of engine (nearly as good as the BMW) and Chassis (better than the upto 2014 bmw, not as good as....)

Fireblade. best chassis by far and still has midrange the other two can only dream about. youll only notice the missing 25 ponies on track.

if i had the cash to buy one right now it would be a 2015 zx10r, can & PC5 and enjoy a monster.

But then again, thats just my short opinion of limited road time and good mates opionions on road & track (doesnt seem to be that different to press opinion either(

Daft idea, but why not test ride all the ones you fancy and stump up your cash for the one you like best? Bit like finding a woman, really whistle

Being a girl don't you really need a 600?

The ZX6R is a great track tool and pretty good on the road too.

Having never ridden any of them and going only by what I think looks coolest and sounds the best then the Aprillia RSV4 wins hands down every time.

surely it's worth considering?

Whatever you get make sure you update the thread

Do you want a 'new' bike? Do you only like Japanese stuff?

MV Agusta? Aprilia? (may never look back)

Do you hope to do work on your own bike?

Imo the only nice'ish' Blade after the 07, is the SP which I've been tempted to change my Repsol for, but mine is still nice. I always liked the quirky look of the BMW, but not enough.

She has just had 2 successive BMW S10000RR's so an 8 yr old Blade will most likely not be on her radar.

I would imagine you cannot go wrong with another S1000RR. Other side of the coin is, depending on where you live maybe one dealer is better than another and that may sway a decision.

As said you wont go wrong with:

S1000RR
ZX10R
RSV-4

or go ugly early and have a look at the new R1

The RSV4 and Ducati Panigale are very small. If you are a non-Amazonian sized lady, they might suit well. If looking new, there are some good bargains going on the outgoing 2014 RSV4 and Ducati Panigale 1199 (replaced by 1299).
