Hate to be controversial, but if you agreed to keep the bike capacity small when your wife agreed to let you get back on two wheels shouldn't you do the right thing and stand by your word?
Oh, and avoid Performance Bikes magazine this month as they have a big Street Triple buying guide
I wouldn't do anything without her agreement. Oh, and avoid Performance Bikes magazine this month as they have a big Street Triple buying guide
I do chop and change my vehicles with indecent frequency but think I will stick with the KTM until at least next year. Will try to get some test rides in over the summer so know more about what I would go for (if allowed and if I think it is worthwhile).
I have been super disciplined since buying the KTM and have been riding carefully.
If I can keep that up over the summer maybe a larger bike is on the cards.
The KTM is really light, which is great around town, but the engine isn't that smooth. Perhaps it needs some more miles to loosen up.
Probably not. It's a single after all. They are never smoth, but have a charm of their own. Personally I love the lumpy chunky feel of a single and have found 4 cylinder bikes to feel a little caricterless.
Anyway, you could go kill or cute and tell her that 70 on a 125 is just the same as 70 on a 1000cc. You get there faster but the danger is the same (because you would never ever go over the speed limit. Honest).
