Riding schools in Aberdeenshire

I'm looking to sit my CBT soon, as I want some biking experience before doing my DAS next year. Are there any schools in Aberdeen and the shire that People would recommend?

A quick google didn't give me much other than the names of a bunch of riding schools but no reviews, so any opinions would help. Cheers!

In March I used 212 for my cbt, it's a one guy setup based on a farm near danestone. It was just me there and took from about 9-3 and cost £120. I was going to use him for DAS but his answerphone said he was unavailable. He had ybr's and bandits.

In October I used Biketec for DAS, one instructor worked out of a van close to the Aberdeen/Cove test centre the other from a lockup in Bridge of Don. Glad I used Biketec, they were helpful when I messed up Mod 1 and have a good setup for practicing. It cost £500 plus Mod 1 resit fee which was £15. They use Er6n's and Suzuki Gladius and I think cg125 but not sure.

Where abouts in aberdeenshire? Did you find someone in the end?
I used fastrak in Elgin, moray. Very professional. John bends over backwards to get you through the test. Very patient aswell.

My pay came through today so i'll be phoning around for quotes tomorrow, cheers Yarders, I have relatives in Elgin so that's also an option! I'm staying out near Inverurie at the moment so convenient for town and heading north.

Given you're near Inverurie I used Biketec for my CBT and they were fine - the operate in the carpark by the council offices. You've probably seen the contact details already but just in case:

I was going to go back to them for my DAS but they were booked up for a long time and couldn't commit to a start date. In the end I did it with CMS in Aberdeen who were very good - they base their training on one of the car parks at Pittodrie stadium:

Due to some of the sttier things in life, money issues etc This has unfortunately been put on the backburner.
Hopefully should save enough just to go straight for the DAS course next march and just get it all out of the way in a one-er
