May be a legitimate reason, vendor may be completely in the clear, but much discount offered immediately, had to HPI with VIN only... Came up stolen, just a heads up...

I'd report it to the police, so they can act to seize it quickly if it is stolen. They'll be able to tell quite quickly what the story is with it. Where is it for sale? Funnily enough, I saw a blue and silver one of these this morning in Newcastle, but it was being ridden, so I'm guessing not the same one.
