If these hotels/ B&Bs are rubbish blame is completely on MTB (and a little myself for trusting him!)
Now I just have to fit my delivered today tow bar to my car so I can actually tow my trailer down there...
Spooky as fk. The service station in Lynn wood is where I went for my first trip away with my other half. It used to be a Travelodge. It's very secure Now I just have to fit my delivered today tow bar to my car so I can actually tow my trailer down there...
Truck stop behind and cameras when you drive in.
There is also a mcd's right next door to it. We practically spent 3 nights in the hotel room, then mcd's for breakfast lunch and dinner. The smell of used condoms, sweat and mcd's after three days musta gave the maid the boAk

So I did Anglesey again yesterday, definitely picked the ropey day of the weekend but never mind. I've paid the money and i'm riding, unlike half the paddock that camped in their garages all day.
I camped and it was ok, got pissed to be fair so that probably helped.
First two sessions were dry and we were both riding well (shared bike and the first trackday together), Dave was riding that well he managed to outride himself and lobbed it at the last hairpin.
One of those awful moments of waiting for your bike to come back and someone calls over to say it is lying down on the track!
Luckily he was ok and it was a very low speed lowside, probably getting a bit giddy on a cold track and cold tyres because it was bloody cold!
Just a ground down bobbin and footpeg, absolutely no damage to anywhere else.
It then started to drizzle on and off so we left the road tyres on and just cracked on, that session dried a bit due to the wind so I cracked on as normal and it is surprising how quick you can go on good road tyres!
A few warning twitches but no big moments.
We tried to fit the wets on wheels I borrowed at lunchtime but had trouble with the spacers on the front so binned that and left the road tyres on.
Dave was getting passed left right and centre in inters with all the wet tyre users but he still really enjoyed it. He just did the one session in the afternoon and I did two, couldn't be assed with the 3rd as my hands were bloody frozen after 2 laps.
The bike wasn't too happy and had developed a very loud induction roar and a horrible resonating noise at a certain rev range. We think the old brittle BMC filter is goosed finally (it was on the to do list).
Everything else seems fine on the bike so hopefully its just that.
Wet days aren't so bad if you just get stuck in, like I said, I paid so I'm riding, regardless.
I like Anglesey but it's weather patterns are odd. What's more annoying is the weather leading up to it and the weather today, bugger.
Alex James takes excellent pictures, there are loads of me so will be checking them out on his website later in the week, I bought this one just to prove it was dry at one point.
