I'd need to get a van and ramps MTB, it's probably a bit to far for my first TD.

Like I said I thought it was SW originally

Come to brands.

You weren't, you have a habit of starting or joining in threads that require you to spend money then it never happens.

the exhaust thread
the rearset thread
this thread.

in the last 30 days.

There was no way in Gods green earth you were going to drive 3-4 hours to wales for your first track day, and it also being a double header. I think you just have a need to post as much as you can.

I'll bet a Mars bar with you and anyone else who wants to that you wont do one this year.

Right booked my first track day in about 5 years at Donington on 2nd April. Only did two before and hated it as kept looking over my shoulder going into corners. I was always worried I was cutting someone up or someone was coming up my inside and would take me out. So I'm going to give it another go and not look over shoulder and try and get into trackdays properly this time. It's you lot keep putting trackday threads up that has got me trying again!!!

Looking over your shoulder is the last place you wanna be looking!!! As long as you're not all over the place and stick to some kind of logical line you shouldn't be difficult to pick off safely.

Yazza, I know it sounds absolutely ridiculous but I was so worried about getting in people's way. I have listened to the advice on other threads and will do my own thing and other riders will go passed me when they can. I'm no racer but for some reason find I go faster on road than track. It must be in my head so I will give it one more go.

Looking back is the definitely the worse thing. It throws you off line it worries the guy behind you and just makes it all generally unpredictable. Just book one go in novices don't worry about anyone else. If they're behind you it's their job to pass you safely you just do your thing. Clear your head focus on what your doing and if you don't enjoy it at least you gave it another shot.
