I only get paid £98.16p per week. The boss says that I am a useless tosser and its all I am worth.
Sounds like he's bigging you up
What do you do BN. All I seem to see is you fixing bikes at work. Concrete planner I think you once told me.

Slightly less but yes. Sorry I forgot it's very Un British to talk about money. IM only mentioning it as I'm now self employed so if I take a day off I don't get paid and it feels like it's costing Me.
Technically it's not costing you, you still get your wage. It costs the company... Got to be careful how stuff is done like that else you will get screwed over by IR35

How do you justify that then? Maybe as a works team building day if you took someone else?

I never put the actual day through, but with a bit of creative book keeping you can stick tyres, oil, even the bike through.

Tell me more. Surely you could claim digs and say you were at an interview or meeting but not a track day.

If you took two employees then yes but not yourself

Probably put it down as schmoozing a client.
All the servicing costs and running costs wouldn't be a problem.

I'm not moaning either! I only work part time so have to watch what I am doing.

Well I'm working my notice on holiday so practically unemployed! I can still manage going to Norwich, which all I know about it is farmers and lack of genetic diversity.
