Is that the first chicane? If so can vouch for that....
Second chicane at the bottom of the hill.

No idea how many fingers, but definitely blip. Also do it as a matter of course on the road. If you're not proficient I'd not start out doing it on track, likely to cause more problems I reckon..

Second. I clipped the kerb on the right on the way in, unsettled the bike and lost the front when I tipped in for it.

And Druids, allegedly, slippy in the wet, from tree sap, from oil, gravel flung by people who suddenly decide to have a little lie down in the gravel traps... A wonderful double apex corner smile

What a great section of track. Up over clay hill and round druids is fantastic!

It's awesome but scary at the same time. Trying to keep the front end down over clay hill then keeping the throttle open as late as you dare before braking into Druids. More often than not I feel like I'm going too fast going into it but then think I could have gone quicker on the way out.

Question for you clever lot.

Lets say you are approaching a hairpin, you are in the top end of 4th and the hairpin for arguments sake is 2nd.

Do you guys Brake and st down or are you some how blipping the throttle on the way down the box?

When I did this at mallory I would brake, somehow let off to clutch in and blip the throttle then re brake but I take it I am doing it all wrong.
The most important thing is to brake as smoothly and firmly as possible. If you need to release the brake to blip, or your input on the brake isn't smooth and the front end pogo's then you shouldn't blip.

I don't blip. If you have a slipper clutch then you don't need to. If you don't have a slipper, you just need to be smooth releasing the clutch. If the rear end is skipping or hopping, then just ease the clutch back in

Mine was skipping at anglesey, i put it down to track surface but does that mean i was letting the clutch out to fast?
