Haha, the "sirry@ was tongue in cheek. I'm chuffed with the laptime. I'll be honest though, I did think I'd be faster at jerez I'm only 4 and a bit seconds off pole position in a world superstock 1000. And yet I was 8 seconds off Danny Buchans pole laps here. I think the bumps freak me out a bit and show up a poor bike setup tht he flat track at jerez doesn't.
I'm going to book up for the 23/24th of June and give it another bash

I got a 1.58
Still not bad for a 600 with road tyres and standard gearinG.
I don't want to hear another peep out of you about standard fking gearing. Still not bad for a 600 with road tyres and standard gearinG.
I forgot how many times you asked me how much of a difference lower gearing would make.

What are good leavers for a ZX6?
why are they leaving? Did you not get off to a good start. Or are they jealous that you want to buy new levers?? I know how Dani feels

Mckeann - with your pace, is your bike comparable to a superstock machine or is that a limiting factor as well?
I'm in danger of blemishing my delicate Scottish skin with all this Englandshire sunshine:
My bike is basically superstock but with better brakes. Nothing wrong with the bike other than setup. I need to learn how to set it up betterMckeann - with your pace, is your bike comparable to a superstock machine or is that a limiting factor as well?

Maybe try cleaning the mechanism up first and adding a new cable. See if that frees it up a little.
Is it the reach though that is the problem?
Yes, it's both that are the problem babe.Is it the reach though that is the problem?
I have pazzo's on the FZ8 and they are great and Fleegle adjusted the position of them for me

Couple of pics from Anglesey last week.
Great track - just a shame it's so far away !
How would you rate it on track? There were a couple (blue) ones at Snetterton yesterday and they didn't appear to be going too quick.Great track - just a shame it's so far away !
Cadwell so far - got the front wheel up on the mountain. Felt like 6 feet, prob 6mm; a little bit of poo came out. I'm at the slower end of novice here, a guy binned it trying to out brake me and low sided, there's also one particular guy who seems to enjoy cutting folk up. Oh and another guy tried to go round the outside of me at the end of the start/finish straight - went cross country but amazingly kept it upright and re-joined the track. There's also a guy who seems to just be on a cruise round the circuit on a Kawasaki adventure bike - random but h3 stays off the line so no biggie!
