Snetterton double on the 27th and 28th july if anyone fancies it.
£99 for the day or £185 for the double.
I'm only going to do the 27th as 28th is open pit
I might be up for that. Something about Monday trackdays - allows you to faff about over the weekend sorting stuff out. £99 for the day or £185 for the double.

Returning a borrowed battery to a trackday mate tomorrow night and we will be looking at booking some days up soon to get rid of the rust.

No-one likes to see someone crashing, but without being heartless, I have little sympathy for people who select the wrong group and come a cropper.
Yes it's a nice bike and no reason why it shouldn't be on a trackday, but when will these guys realise that fast bike does not equate to fast rider
We had this happen at the Phakisa TD this weekend. Load of guys came up from Durban with R1's and S1KRR's and were pre booked in A group. Yes it's a nice bike and no reason why it shouldn't be on a trackday, but when will these guys realise that fast bike does not equate to fast rider
Their lap times were nearly 30 seconds a lap slower than the fastest A riders on a very fast circuit. Frightening coming up behind someone doing 200+ cranked right over and this chop is wobbling around picking one of a hundred lines.
Thankfully transponders were in use and they were bounced out to B or even C group after the 2nd session. It was priceless to hear some of the stories in the pits....
"Ja my Bru, my S1000HP4 was spinning up so bad off the corners and I couldn't get the drive"....... after clocking a 2:15 lap.......
Maybe there should be a database of laptimes that's used to validate which group you can ride in.

You really are such a poser, looking right at the camera! Also, you make that bike look tiny (as per most). I still say you can get your knee down without even leaning.
The irony of me riding a small boy bike

I dont understand why anyone confident and reasonably fast would choose a TD and then moan about the standard of riders, it is what it is?

Also, if you book the "fast" group, then you want to be able to ride at that pace, taking what will inevitably be sensible lines. You don't want to have to either stand it up or second guess some tw@t who's all over the shop.
Make sense?

seriously, doesn't it strike you as obvious? Otherwise why would you even bother with groups? Would you propose everyone just goes out and sorts it out for themselves???
There's a level of control and competence A group riders expect and deserve from other similar riders. It isn't just about outright pace but track awareness and etiquette.
