Try putting the balls of your feet on the pegs not your heels. You will save a lot in toe sliders, and be able to move around on the bike a lot easier.
I did realise this eventually. Does this only apply with your right foot as you never touch the back brake? Or would you move your left around as well - moving your foot back and forth to operate the gears?
1. Changing gear
2. Cornering, where the outside foot has the heel step against the peg.

Personally, I'm always on the balls of my feet UNLESS..

That must mean you're moving your feet around constantly?1. Changing gear

Arse is never in one place for too long either.

Oh...
I must just be lazy then!
Don't worry. If you're comfortable, that's the main thing. It's good practice to keep your feet up, it stops your toes getting pushed into the road.I must just be lazy then!
As your pace picks up, you'll notice how moving your body and feet benefits your control.
Until then, just enjoy
Who's doing Oulton 23rd/24th, loon, BN, McKean.. anyone else?
I plan to do one of those days, not quite comfortable booking both in view of my recent experiences, prefer not to use 2 days holidays up in one go too..but 99.99999999% sure the bike will be spot on. New wheel bearings on order for both sets of wheels, new head bearings and all linkages/swingarm bearings checked and greased.. plus full suspension refurb can't be much else!!
