Due to my issues with the leavers on the Zx6 just ordered the these, hoping they will make a difference.

I had a go at motorcross at the weekend.

I think I've been wasting my time with this trackday business. I should be ragging it around the estate in a hoody on a CRF 250 with the frame numbers ground off.

I've got Anglesey in three weeks which will be the first time I've been back to any track then fancy getting a couple in July before I get squashed by the thumb...sorry married.
Is snetterton worth the trip down? It's either there or croft again. Or maybe Silverstone.

If Its the 300 then yes. I had a hoot. Big straights, nice and wide flowing circuit.

For the infield I would suggest it is more technical than flowing

Yes I would agree.

Flows quite nicely if you are slow like me though.

It doesn't seem too manufactured.

yeah, immense fun, I keep swearing i'll get into it more, but I really need a garage that's onto the house, it wouldn't last long at my dads garage. They are hot for stealing.

Yeah definitely going to have another shot, the amount of horrendous close calls I somehow saved was hilarious. Not sure what to do next mind. BMW do loads of cheap days but it's bring your own gear. Big days out are about £250 which seems a bit steep.

Thinking that too. Those bds I caught stealing my car have at least one stolen bike in their possession. They're st scared of the Rottie and my bike will be anchored beyond those idiots, but it's a bit st knowing there's are least three people on your street waiting to rob your bike. Let alone people who find it.

BMW doing MX? Are you sure it wasn't Enduro. MX will kill you physically, as the fitness level needed to do it is ridiculously high.

Yeah BMW is on GSs so Enduro but it's cheap (£60) and off road so may have a look. Just looking at anything affordable just now as can't really spend owt at the moment.

I did MX, you're right, after two hours I am fking aching now. I was shaking like a stting dog between sessions because of muscle ache. My mate however says he's fine, I can guess better technique helps reduce it, as I think it's fair to say I'm a bit fitter than him.

Looking at wr250s since Saturday. Seriously want.

Short version is there are a small number of low end scumbags on my street with a fetish for cars and bikes.

I caught one stealing my work car. We exchanged pleasantries he went inside, but due out again about now. I am genuinely looking forward to seeing him. His cronies have had their clearly stolen MX bikes once or twice, and try to engage me about motorcycles. I believe I told them to fk off last time.

So basically if I buy an MX bike they would have a special interest in it. They're fking amateurs compared to some of the bad lads from back home however, but it's something to think about as Alex says.
