I sold my CBR600RR8 and bought a Daytona track bike this week...
It seems a decent spec and has got all the bits on it i'd enu up buying...
I'm itching to get it out on track, Thinking of doing a evening sesh at cadwell on the 31/7 just to get my head round the new bike. Anyone else doing cadwell that day?

Got my serviced suspension back from K-Tech, they included these settings for me (92kgs). Any comments from the suspension gurus?
No guru- but they are .... Just use them .Use as is , keep record of those with you next time out, change whatever you think appropriate, for whatever reasons you feel fit , one setting ( area) at a time, leaving all else alone .... Adapt / vary accordingly for climate / track type etc ...Enjoy .

At Donington on 26th of August with No Limits if anyone is going!
Just seen this - and yes - I am , giving my boss's son one-to-one instruction on his first ever trackday, on a bike ....It is of course a pure "road bike only " day , full fat registered road legal ( not daytime mot etc ) treaded tyre day , no tyre warmers/ racebikes , so a very different day which may appeal to a few more on here...
I know of a couple of others going , and fortunately I shall get to ride with these too in their group as my man is in the Novice ( they are running this day as : Novice , Novice/Inters , Inters ., to get away from the "Fast/Advanced" pressured idea ) .
I know Andy ( Soofsayer) is there on his road HP4 too ...
Hope to see you there ...GB.

You will still have to check and probably set the rider sag as there's no way it can be done by post Until you are on the bike the sag numbers will be circumspect at best. Spring rate in the front seems ok for your weight, rear spring possibly a tad soft but not knowing the linkage ratio it's impossible to say from here.
My only comment would be about the rebound settings. The numbers listed don't say out of how many clicks or turns available ...
If it's 1 click out from a possible 20 clicks I'd be very worried the rebound circuit is closed down totally which is a very dangerous thing...
Remember, regardless of road or track, rebound needs to be as fast as possible without allowing a double bump..

Booked onto novice/inters as I've never been to donington before. Hopefully everyone isn't wobbling about in that group. Will be on a gsxr1000 k5 or 09 hornet. Jazoli - Great news Dave , hope you can make it mate , be good to see and ride with you again , I know you'll liaise with the other lads but if you need a bed night before, break the journey, en route, no problem , we shall sort a plan re. ride down etc
Obscene - look forward to seeing you - you will meet a few off here that day then ....if you choose !

My first time at Donny was last week, went for the inters. It was spot on for me, passing as many as who passed me.
I found it a really difficult track to learn to be honest, could do with some instruction and I'm still learning how to ride my RC8.
Most corners, I feel in retrospect I could have carried a lot more corner speed and found quite tricky, some I found a doddle as they were similar to corners at other tracks, enjoy.

Will compare to OEM settings as probably similar.
